Started writing poems and creating music while he was a student.
Established art studio for homeless people and handicapped people. And it inspired him and he started painting.
Concept
僕の絵のモチーフは自分の思い出の風景や心象風景からとってきます。しかし、描いているうちに最初のモチーフから離れて絵はそれ自体の物語を紡ぎ始めます。完成した作品のストーリーは僕には説明できません。見てくださる方それぞれが絵の声を聞き、それぞれのストーリーを創造するのだと思っています。
描いている時はまるで自分の足元に井戸を掘るように自分の自我の中に降りていく感覚がします。ある日本人作家がこういうメタファーを使っています。「自分の足元に井戸を掘るように自我の中に降りていく。それはとても個人的な行為です。しかしあるポイントで地下水脈にたどり着きます。それは全ての人の自我と繋がっているのです」

それが僕のやりたいことなのです。
I take motifs from my own memories and mental landscapes. But my paintings leave from the motifs and start weaving their own narratives while I’m painting.
I can’t explain meanings of complete works. I think that audiences hear voices of paintings and create their own stories.
While painting, I feel as if I go down to my ego. One famous Japanese writer often uses this metaphor. “Writing, for me is like going down to my own ego like I’m digging a well below myself. That’s really a personal activity. But at one point, I reach to underground water veins. They are connecting to every human’s egos”
